Seat Concepts seats are constructed using a foam material that is a much higher quality than OEM seat foam. Their proprietary formula provides a more plush and active ride, while still offering the necessary amount of support.
The Race 2.0 is the ultimate in style and function for the aggressive racer. Extra traction ribs help hold the rider in place under hard acceleration or in big braking bumps.
Complete seats are assembled on an aftermarket Seat Concepts pan and ready to ride.
Covers are made of water resistant vinyl. The covers are not waterproof at the seams. Water will still be present at the seams after rain until the cover dries inside and out. All complete seats are supplied with plastic already installed.
A note about seat types:
Comfort:
The unique "Comfort" shape maintains a similar contour to stock at the front of the seat so that the rider’s legs are not spread farther apart, and tapers out towards the mid-point to distribute the rider's weight over a greater area. These features combine to offer a custom seat feel, and provide greater enjoyment and increased range on a long commute.
Competition:
The Seat Concepts Super Grip cover incorporates an industry leading rubber grip patch at the lower center of the cover. This means you can hold the bike with your knees and have better control. A great attribute of this design is the resistance to damage caused by knee braces. The ribs have a foam insert to improve resistance to sliding on hard acceleration or braking.
Race 2.0:
The Seat Concepts Race 2.0 covers are similar to the Competition covers with a few additional ribs and it does not have the rubber grip patches on the sides.
