MANUFACTURER WARRANTY: Seat Concepts provides a 1-year product defect warranty to the original purchaser. This does not cover abuse, impact (crash) damage, cross threaded or stripped mounting bolts/inserts, damage done during customer installation or sun-faded colors. Excessive wear or abrasion at the knee area is common to riders who wear knee braces or grip tightly with their knees, and is also not covered under warranty. For warranty claims, we will attempt to verify the issue as best we can with pictures, but in some cases an item must be sent directly to Seat Concepts for a hands on inspection. If the product is found to have a defect, Seat Concepts will, at their discretion, repair or replace the item. MX1 Canada will work with Seat Concepts on your behalf to help resolve any issues, however MX1 Canada is not responsible for shipping fees or other charges related to warranty claims. Proof of purchase will be required before a warranty claim can be opened.

COMPLETE SEATS vs FOAM & COVER KITS:

A Complete Seat comes fully assembled on a Seat Concepts pan, and is ready to ride. The Foam & Cover Kits consist of a foam and a cover which you will need to install on an OEM seat pan.

Seat Concepts seat pans are designed to be replicas of the OEM pan, however these are not actual OEM or factory seat pans. On certain models, Seat Concepts has made durability improvements or changed the shape of the pan to allow for a greater foam thickness or to increase pan durability if an issue exists with the OEM pan.

SEAT TYPES:

COMFORT: The "Comfort" seat maintains a similar contour to the stock seat at the front, and tapers out towards the mid-point to distribute the rider's weight over a greater area. This is where the width of the seat will be wider than the OEM/stock seat. You will have a custom seat feel which should provide greater enjoyment and increased range on a long commute.

COMFORT XL: The XL design is wider than the standard COMFORT seat which means more surface area offering better weight distribution and added comfort for those not worried about seat width.

RALLY: The RALLY seat has a slimmer profile than the COMFORT models (and the OEM seats), and is ideal for riders who are doing a lot of technical riding because it offers increased maneuverability.

RACE 2.0: The Race 2.0 is the ultimate in style and function for the aggressive racer. Extra traction ribs help hold the rider in place under hard acceleration or in big braking bumps.

ELEMENT: Element seats provide all the benefits of the COMFORT line but with added perks. Whether you're an aggressive rider looking to get more traction along with unmatched comfort or fighting off a waterlogged seat in the summer and an ice block in the winter, the Element seat is the ultimate tool for any off-road enthusiast. The Element seat comes with four traction ribs at the rear to keep you firmly planted in the cockpit comprised entirely of gripper material. Additionally, each Element seat comes seam-sealed on the inside to prevent water from penetrating into the foam. Before the cover is installed, each foam is covered with a thin water barrier as added protection from the elements. Rain, snow, mud, or anywhere in between the Element seat is a must-have for year-round use.

SEAT CONCEPTS FOAM:

Seat Concepts proprietary foam material is a much higher quality than the OEM seats, and is generally softer than most stock foams. We often hear from experienced riders that the seat that came with their new bike is terrible. Whether it's a new bike or not, replacing the seat can make a huge difference in how much you want to ride your bike. Seat Concepts seats will provide a more plush and active ride while still offering the necessary amount of support.

The standard density foam works well within a weight range of 165-265 lbs. If you are below or near the lower range, or if you are on the higher side of this weight range, you will have to contact Seat Concepts directly for a consultation. MX1 Canada is not able to offer custom foam density.

*IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT LOW SEATS: Be aware that some comfort will be sacrificed by choosing a lower seat. To reduce seat height, some material must be removed, and the foam density has to be increased to provide enough support. For this reason, there will be a 25% RESTOCKING FEE and return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping/handling charges, if any, are non-refundable. CAREING FOR YOUR SEAT:

Seat Concepts is constantly striving to improve their products and they frequently make minor changes to the cover material or patterns. As a result, pictures on our site may not exactly match the currently available product on the Seat Concepts website. We will notify you immediately if the seat cover you selected is not available and will provide alternate options.

Covers are made of water-resistant vinyl but the seams are not sealed. Water will still be present at the seams until the cover dries inside and out. All Complete Seats are supplied with plastic already installed. If you are purchasing a Foam & Cover Kit, a sheet of thin plastic is provided in the kit.

We recommend using a mild detergent/cleaning solution, warm water, and a soft scrub brush to clean your new seat. Do not use a pressure washer to clean the seat and do not submerge or soak the seat. Do not put your seat in the dishwasher (yes, someone actually did that) and stay away from any harsh chemicals or solvents. Leave the seat to dry naturally in a warm area (sun is ideal). Do not use a heat gun, fire, or any sort of propane heater.
