SHIPPING

Do you ship outside of Canada?

Right now our international shipping policy only covers the continental United States. If you are located out of these areas you can contact us here we may be able to direct you to a supplier in your area.

How can I tell if an item is in stock?

Item stock status is available on the product detail page. We stock a large inventory, however it is impossible to have every item listed on our site in stock 24/7 so you will see various types of information on the product detail page:
  • Items that are in stock and can ship immediately are available to purchase using the Add to Cart button
  • Items that may take longer to ship will be noted in the product description
  • Items on "Pre-Order" or "Backorder" have a note with a link that provides an expected date of arrival

When an item is not in stock and we are unable to provide an estimated date of arrival it will not be available to order. Instead we provide the option to receive an email when the item does becomes available to ship. Click on the "Receive Stock Update" link you will be notified as soon as the item is back in stock.

How do I know when my order has shipped?

When you place your order online you will receive an instant email confirming that your order was successfully placed. This email contains your order details and our contact information.

If your order contains a combination of in stock and backordered or pre-ordered items your order will be held until it can be shipped complete.

We will contact you by email if your order will be delayed.

When the order has shipped you will receive an email with the courier tracking information. If you placed your order by phone and did not provide an email address you will not receive any notifications from us.

NOTE: If you did not receive an email from us after you placed your order make sure that your email program has not blocked it. You can do this by checking the junk/spam folder of your email program. You should add "sales@mx1canada.com" to your safe senders list to ensure that you receive order and shipping notifications.

What is your free shipping policy?

Free shipping applies to Canadian orders only. There may be a charge if your order is shipped to an outlying or remote area determined by Canada Post. These areas include, but are not limited to:
  • Northern BC, Northern Alberta, Northern Ontario and Northern Quebec
  • Yukon
  • Northwest Territories
  • Some areas of Newfoundland/Labrador
  • Nunavut

If we determine that a remote area surcharge applies we will contact you before shipping your order.

Oversize/special handling charges may be applied to orders that include:

  • tires
  • bike stands and loading ramps
  • case quantities of oils

RETURNS, EXCHANGES and WARRANTIES

How do I return an item?

Returns must be initiated within 30 days of receipt of the order and must have a return authorization number which you can get by calling us toll free at 1-888-666-8616, Monday- Friday 9am - 5pm Pacific time. Items returned "collect" or without a return authorization number will not be processed.

We will not authorize or accept returns without a Return Authorization Number clearly marked on the outside of the box.

The cost of returning the item(s) to us will be your responsibility. Original shipping and/or handling charges are non-refundable. To ensure you receive a full credit the item(s) must be:

  • in the original packaging complete with tags
  • in new and re-sellable condition

Return the item(s) in the original shipping box and packing materials. If original tags and packaging materials are not included with your return a restocking fee of 20% will be deducted from your refund.

Returns must shipped by a courier that uses a tracking number system. When you have returned the item send us an email with the courier tracking information and return authorization number. Failure to provide us with this information may result in a delayed or denied refund.

Special order and custom orders are not eligible for return or exchange. In some cases a deposit may be required before placing the order and this deposit will be non-refundable. You will be made aware of this before your deposit is accepted.

Final sale and discontinued items are excluded from our exchange or refund policy.

How do I exchange an item?

RIDING GEAR: The size you ordered doesn't fit? We will be happy to exchange it and offer you free shipping on the exchanged item, provided the item returned is in the original packaging with all tags intact and is in re-sellable condition. You pay the cost of returning the item to us and we cover the cost to send the exchanged item to you. If product tags and/or original packaging is missing a 20% restocking charge may apply.

What is your warranty policy?

Warranty replacement is at the discretion of the manufacturer. We work with reputable companies so that our customer's can be assured that the products they receive are top quality. In the event of a warranty situation we will work on your behalf to remedy the situation.

To submit a claim for warranty contact us toll free at 1-888-666-8616, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm Pacific. Proof of purchase will be required so please make sure you have the invoice number handy before contacting us so that we can assist you quickly.

PAYMENT METHODS

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and MX1 Canada Gift Certificates. When you reach our checkout page you have the following options:

  • Credit Card:  Visa or MasterCard - selecting this option will direct you to a secured and encrypted payment processing page where you will enter your credit card information. Transactions are processed immediately. We use Moneris to process our online credit card transactions, and we never see or store your credit card information. All transactions are conducted in accordance with PCI/DSS regulations.

  • PayPal: Pay online using your available PayPal balance, bank account or credit card.
  • We ship to PayPal confirmed addresses only, so to avoid possible delays make sure that your PayPal account has a confirmed address (explained here).

    If PayPal advises us that your address is "unconfirmed", we reserve the right to request an alternate address and/or payment method before your order is processed for shipping - this will delay shipment of your order.

  • Phone Order:  You can submit your order and then call us toll free at 1-888-666-8616 and we can process your payment manually. This may delay your order by 1 business day. Office hours are Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm Pacific.

  • Gift Certificate:  MX1 Canada Gift Certificates can be used like cash online or at our warehouse outlet store.
  • If paying by Gift Certificate online, you must choose Gift Certificate as the payment method FIRST, enter the ID# and then if there is a balance owing on your order you can choose another payment method. If there is a balance remaining on the certificate you can use it against a future purchase.
